This guy's a top bloke and definitely knows his stuff. I suffered chronic pain bought on by emotional issues as well as lifestyle problems and I THINK I had an SIJ issue, although i'm not 100% sure, an osteopath seemed to help that with an adjustment although perhaps that was all placebo, either way - i'm fully fit now and the same pains come back when I get very stressed, which isn't often anymore and now I recognise it for what it is.

This is all very true. I teach yoga, 15 classes a week for 11 years. We teach pratayahara, to draw the consciousness inward. As the proprioception increases, we can rewire the pain response.

Yes, I agree with Adrian. The Alexander Technique embodies this completely. Great to see it addressed this way by Professor O'Sullivan.

"cognitive functional therapy" I like this a lot, although it's not new, The Alexander Technique has been using this for over 100 years, but still glad to see that the logical solution to many peoples pain is gaining more traction. @Mauricio Herrador, Feldenkrais "borrowed" a lot of his ideas from F.M.Alexander, even started to train with him. But let's face it, no one really works in a bubble without influence. :)

Can somebody explain to me the difference between 'cognitive functional therapy' and 'pain neuroscience education' ? I'm confused 🤔
