Just checked, close range DPS for osttruppen is 0.85, while for grens it's 6.5. How do they kill anything at all???

Usually you build 2-3 MGs when you use this doctrine right hans? or you rely on the supply drop for your second MG

Yeah be testing it up with getting the 2nd mg built and the 3rd through a drop. Sometimes the other way around but I find I have more success with 2 mgs early before a drop.

I'm new to this gamw sort of. Can someone explain what lead the opp to surrender what I thought was early? What made it unwinnable for him at that point?

He lost his SU-85 and was about to lose the KV-2 against a German player who has a Vet 3 Panzer 4, a Panther, a Brummbar and a Flamethrower halftrack. Hans was also squeezing him for Fuel so I assume he had little of that too. In total, Soviet player lost: 2 T-34s, 1 SU-85, 1 KV-2 Hans lost: 1 Stug At that point, Hans was about to surround his base and possibly kill it outright. His opponent fell too far behind in the armour game.

What does holding fire give while attacking ground? I noticed you doing this with Brummbar and P4 at the end.

Not played for ages but from memory it's useful when you really want some ground equipment destroyed ASAP. Or want to do a leading shot with a tank. But not have your tank auto target & shoot random things in the meantime.

Brummbar 1 - Any behicle turret focus on a specific model when targetting a infantry squad. If it focus on a model on the edge you cause less damage. With manual ground attack you can make it attack more closely to the center of the squad and thus maximize the damage. 2 - It shoots where the squad is. If it is moving, the damage will be severely reduced, especially if it focuses on the model on the opposite side of the movement. E.g. Shoots on the model on the left while the squad is moving to the right 3 - There is no "Don't shoot vehicles" in the game 4 - It has a high reload time. You can't waste shots.

He doesn't use Brits against high ranking Axis players because their shit. He'd rather use Wehrmacht ostrupen on everyone as it's easier. Id love to see this guy play Brits best of 5 against the best of Axis players. He'd lose Hans down, pardon the pun.

@Søren Kepler: some of Hans's content actually contain lose(s) as well (for example his "penal power", "avre madness", etc.) but even on his lose(s) games he played very well and I think there's a lot of to learn from for those who play the game. Therefore I think hans upload video based on how good or bad he play, rather based on win or lose
