Are you having trouble with setting up your mic? It seems like you worry about getting too loud (at least for the first 20 minutes). Setting your gain very low (around -6 dB to -10 dB in OBS when talking normally, and adding some processing might help. In OBS, add filters to your mic, those being 1. Gain (use this gain to boost your mic to around -2 dB, since digital gain is usually a lot cleaner than analog) 2. Compressor (about -5 dB attenuation, leave the attack and release default, ratio 4:1 usually, but you can play around with this. No make-up gain as you are at this point loud enough) 3. Limiter (set at -2 dB, this will prevent peaking) If you set these up, you'll be able to get excited and not destroy your mic quality, but at the same time have a clean and nice and loud signal every time.

the map? It's the same as CoH1 with two land bridges added. The patch? this is a cast of one game, it's not a patch notes walkthrough, check out tightrope on youtube for that.

@@AECoH I was expecting just some general chat about how you think the changes impact the meta. I don't care to learn all the ins and outs, I just want to know if double jeep is dead, did they change ddl, did they fix the replay vp bug. I don't know what it is with CoH 3 but I cannot get into it because of how bad the sound is. Explosions sound way too loud, guns way too quiet, etc.

You know Ed is right. This game has nothing and I mean nothing on COH2! And it kinda just hit me why it is inferior to COH2 and will never equate to anything near the earned cult following of it's former entry. It's boring, forget all the blaring issues of balance and intrinsic meta design. The game is boring; to play and so much less enjoyable to watch pro's play than COH2. Isildur BTW never played the heavy hitters during their prime, he just showed if your micro is as sharp as a katana as his was you can really have the edge (pun intended) in this RTS. Anyways, this game has brittle bones and will just go in the long list of RTS's that were nothing but a blip (Iron Harvest anyone) but by all means keep it on life support

Hey good morning@@AECoH Last time i attempted to be funny yet expressive, but failed at both :D Anyways, I was excited to see the Semois map in Coh3 especially with your commentary and I did, but after watching for about the moment you started shunning the "Ed", then i realised how indirectly you're were also doing the same to me :D So long story short, i launched the original Semois from 2000's with KrebsCOHO .... and then i was objectively reminded how awesome COH artistically looks to this day in side by side comparison with the same map in CoH3. What immediately caught my attention in Coh1 was the voluptuous terrains, atmospheric ambience lighting (that felt natural to the setting hence my keyword "artificially" bright in Coh3), fog, night smoke etc., and fires with explosions. All that additionally sounded much better, because of the clarity and distinguishable sound for artillery, small bullets whizzing around and voice narrations. Cheers!
