I was with the same girl for 12 years straight, and coheed was her favorite band... And this year was the year I was going to propose to her, finally. I was going to first reach out to Claudio and find out if he'd let me have the honor of doing it on stage, but even if not, I just wanted him to be present, hopefully along with the band... Alas, she left me. I'm very broken. But their music still gives me a reason to keep waking up. Thank you, from the bottom of my soul.
@samuraisoul10435 жыл бұрын
Ouch sorry man that must make it so much more when you listen to the music but you did have twelve years don’t forget them and at same time move forward living with yourself twelve years is a long time hope you can adjust and if you still listen and feel something it shows that you’re human . Beatles sum life up in a great song for me that is” in my life”

Life will go on, man...We love, we lose, we learn...I Was with the same girl for 8 years! High school sweethearts, and into college...Our relationship was so good, it was disgusting...Hometown heroes blah blah...Thought she was my world, in fact, she was, in that moment of my life...It ended horribly for me, she left me for the worst human possible! I was extremely broken, down, and defeated, but I continued my life, not knowing what to do or where to go...Years later and many miles of life down the road, in a small town in Montana (I’m from Oklahoma, don’t know how I got to Montana haha) the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes upon walks into this little burger place I was stopped at...I introduced myself, and I knew from the second I met her, she was the one I was supposed to meet...She is now my wife, and we have an amazing life together...Matter of fact, we live in that same small town now in Montana! She’s from Florida and I am from Oklahoma...To meet someone in a strange, little place, and then marry that woman, and buy a house here is just bizarre! Everyday seems like a movie! You can not make this up...I thank God everyday for my trials and tribulations, because they got me to this chapter in my life...Point of the story: Keep moving forward, be patient, open your heart and let the repairing begin...Do not ever forget those times shared with someone you truly loved, but also, do not let the past keep you from a future...Let that love go and transform...she will soon become someone that you still care about deeply, but not love...You will wish the best for her, and hope she is well, but you no longer feel the urge to talk to her...Those songs you two love will now be songs that YOU love...The smells that remind you of her, will now be smells that remind you of GOOD TIMES...Sounds cruel and unkind, but it is healthy to help you grow...Concentrate on you, be the person that someone would love and want to marry! AND DO NOT EVER COMPARE NEW LOVE TO OLD LOVE! Let life come to you
