You are missing one armor in the game, the Fudoshi, which is just a loinclothe, you get it by visiting every hotspring in the game.

This game is my game of the year so far, I loved every bit of it and hopefully we get a sequel and if not that is fine too. That one dislike is from Chungus Khan himself

I could not kill him. He was my only family left and he was not the fault for my transition to becoming the Ghost. After my choice I thought back to what he said, I was no longer a samurai and had no honor at that point, so me killing him would not have achieved his warrior's death since I was no longer samurai. This game is beautiful and I will play through it again and again until Ghost of Tsushima 2 comes out which could happen because the Mongols invaded twice, this was just the first one in 1274, the next would be in 1281.

Apparently he killed himself . I heard Theres an npc who tells you he killed himself. I killed him because i couldn't disgrace him any further

Hes sadly forced to do Seppuku for him dishonering the shogun. So by killing him you dont disgrace him and honor him even if you dont have any honor he still have a lot and lives by it.

it would be really cool to have a sequel where the Ghost is the a legend or teacher of ninja (in the Way of the Ghost), but with honor in killing via smarter tactics. redeeming himself through the art of wise instruction perhaps? I chose to let him live, since all Jin wanted was to help people survive the invasion/preserve life. It also internalized the lesson of arrow bro with family being more important than the code. Shimura can go teach people to be samurai and together( apart ) they can drive the mongols from their home

For... reasons, I played Ghost of Tsushima only last month. The story caught me very early and I spent my whole 140 hour playthrough thinking "Man! I can't wait to see Cohh playing this game!" As expected, watching your playthrough was a fantastic journey, with fun, emotional and genuine reactions. So thank you for having given me more time in this wonderful adventure! Went with the Honor route because I felt like we owed Shimura at least that. [Also you get the much cooler white Ghost armor as opposed to the red one]

@@MeldinX2 I feel like sparing him would be the logical choice for Jin as his personality towards the ending has become less of an honorable samurai but a man who will do what he must to protect his loved ones and tsushima. Let me know what you think :D

@@crihard8591 I see what you mean but Jin never wanted to disgrace his uncle. Theres a reason shimura wanted to die. Either he couldn't live knowing how Jin was the ghost or he would be punished by the shogun. In my opinion leaving him alive is like spitting in his face one final time , completely disgracing him and leaving him to either be punished by the shogun or severely depressed. Killing him honors shimura and shows respect and lets shimura die knowing Jin didn't completely detach himself from the samurai way (Also you get a way more intimate interaction with him if you kill him) but thats just my interpretation. (Also some comment i read had said theres an npc who tells you shimura killed himself after sparing him but i'm not sure if thats true)

No, one or the other. You have to live with your choice, stylistically it makes sense.

no thats just because you had a dye for the ronin armour. It has nothing to do with honor.

It could end here, but it would be easy to have sequel that takes place 5 years later when there's the full scale invasion of the Mongols. I'm not sure it could have as much of an emotional impact as this one.

38 hours? How much did Cohh leave out? I finished the main story close to 100 hours, played all side quests and cleared most of the map (missing one shrine but did all Fox Dens and Hot Springs, basically the bits that actually give you mechanical awards).. I had my Legend maxed out halfway through Act 3, all of which made the final two duels MUCH easier... And yes, bloody excellent game.

Well if they make a second game then it wont be called ghost of tsushima 2, thats for sure. Probably Ghost of XY, mainland japan (kyoto?) would be great with all the cherry blossoms.

so was anyone else confused for 5 minutes after sitting on the dock it cut the black and Jin was wearing a different outfit making you think oh it's a flashback but then it's like no this is after everything's happened? still a great game but I feel like they poorly made it aware that yeah this is after you've killed the Khan

people always take the easy path and decision, not knowing it's the worse decision among the two... i fullfilled his wish and killed him because of two reasons, first he failed the shogun, he probably will be forced to commit seppuku anyway... second i showed my uncle that i didn't lost the way he taught me completely and thus he could move on in peace

Same here. I felt that I was showing Shimura that the heart of the samurai was not lost and that I could give him the honorable death he deserved. Otherwise he'd be punished by the shogun or live out the few years that he had left in misery. He was a good man, but deserved better than that. And by killing him, both Jin and Shimura got closure. With the sparing him ending, it feels like they'll never get it and this "Ghost" will always be hanging over them.

I think killing him is the "better" choice. It's what he asked for and not doing it feels like betraying him again. There's also the heart to heart and the white armor which is a plus.

It's a really good game but I wish they did not go with the insanely strict "samurai" code. It just made the samurais look like morons. It's hard for me to buy that stabbing someone in the back is not ok but set up an ambush with bow is completely fine. And use fire, insects & explosives it's fine. BUT NEVER SNEAK UP ON SOMEONE! Unless you shoot them with a bow then it's fine to sneak up on someone. That they question the poison I completely get but I think they should have toned down on the "don't stab people in the back" nonsense and replaced it with more extreme actions from Jin's side & the consequences of his actions, like the enemy learned about the poison & the population start to go against the Shogun. It's on my game of the year list but I wish the main story was better. A lot of great moments but not that well executed in my opinion. I was hoping for a story around how Jin survived everything that should have killed him. Poison, arrows & the fall from the bridge, I guess it's up to interpretation if the wind is his father & the birds his mother guiding him. But at the end I just assumed that he was just a really talented samurai that have a lot of luck. I was hoping for a more supernatural story, that his fathers & mothers spirits was protecting him & made him stronger & that's why he could take on small armies by himself. But the game is really good. The gameplay is repetitive but I was never bored because of how good the combat system was & how beautiful the game is.
