Great vid man! I'm living thru these fishing videos vicariously rn as I'm not able to fish much this season. One thing I'd def recommend is keeping your line up off the water and using your thumb to control the drift since it's a baitcaster and not spinning. It significantly increases your hookset speed. You probably know what you're doing but just thought I'd mention. Tight lines! 🎣

Also a great tip for using the soft beads along with the roe. It's my first year of salmon fishing and I am yet to catch one under the float!

Do u prefer online weights or tangle free cannonball I've had very good luck wit cannonballs but I got a buddy saying that I'm dragging eggs to close to bottom they should be hovering wyt

Honesty I prefer a sliding cannon ball like the Dave’s tangle free. I’ll throw a bead before the swivel so it can’t slide past. That way when I get a bite the fish can’t feel the weight. I aim to be 6 - 12 inch off the bottom when floating!!
