An 8 am KSRTC Sarige bus journey from Ccoimbatore to Mysore.
Everyone, welcome to the Yathra Visheshangal channel.
KSRTC operates around 20 services from Coimbatore to Mysore. Out of which 16 services are Sarige buses and the remaining services are Airavat buses.
My journey is by SARIGE bus to kr nagar via mysore at 8 am.
Bus fare is Rs 204.
A distance of about 204 kms has to be traveled via Annur, Puliyamappatti Sathyamangalam, BANNARI, Sathyamangalam Forest, Dimbam, Punajanur, Chamarajnagar, Nanchangud.
Travel time is around5 hours.
The most recent ban on night travel on this route was introduced
Like other forest checkposts 8.30 to 6.30 this route will be closed.
Buses start from Coimbatore Gandhipuram bus stand. Long distance buses to Kerala also start from Gandhipuram bus stand. Tickets can be pre-booked online.
Rs. 204 for non AC SARIGE bus and Rs.408 for AC Volvo bus.

This bus was earlier K R Nagar - Madurai via pollachi and palani night rider from Mysore. Due to restrictions on night journey in dhimbam, Now it's used as day rider till Coimbatore only. By the way fantastic vlog..... Support from Mysore...👌👌

Brother had failed to describe the S Bend of the Dhimbam Ghat 21/27 , I think which is very difficult to negotiate. In the olden days all the vehicle drivers used to pray Goddess Bannariamman before entering the Dimbam ghat for the safe journey through ghat road where elephants, tigers and leapords used to cross the ghat. These facts were omitted by our brother.
