Hey Matt I have a little tip for you. I used to be obsessed with pushers. Now I'm more into claw machines. When you see those bunches of coins "ramping" up eachother, try to avoid those areas, because when you insert a coin it will most likely just make more coins ramp up in the same spot, basically creating a road block for all those coins. Eventually, if the coins underneath the blockage are accessed, yes, the bunch will fall into the chute, but this occurrence is unlikely unless you are spen

Isaac Millerr guess what I have this same machine. if its unplugged the alarm doesn't work but the door stays shut as well so tipping it would send all the quarters down to the bottom of the game. a solenoid keeps the door open when machine is in play when you kill the power you kill the solenoid which has no power to keep the trap door open which means you still dont get nothing trust me I know my stuff.

I use to work in this area. The tip is to do more than 2 coins at a time. If you have a stop button try to get 3 or more. The best areas are in the center of the coins. Not the sides. Also if there is no stop button you can drop two coins at one slot to get the upper area coins.

So in the UK we have 2p falls machines (Think of this but with 2c a pop). It's great because you get 50 goes for £1, it's pretty low risk but you still get the thrill of winning when they drop. Also the best tactic is to shove like 5 coins in rapidly- this makes a much bigger chunk for pushing, the coins already in the machine don't have a chance to just settle them one at a time.

Best tutorial ever! I call that move when you go for "sidepile" of coins an "Sicilian Defence". Sometimes its concerned as "passive coin pusher players start", but can really surprise people from around to watch what will happen. Usually it just makes that player to look like an idiot.

Does he mention that the coin tray has openings on the side where most the quarters fall into the machine? Therefore the more coins there are on the drop point the more force is available to make the new coins go out the side. The side slots are just as tall as a quarter, and normally the coin surface is mirrored so you can't see the gap.

I have a game where you can play with coins, you need 3 coins so put them on your fingertips flipping the 3 upwards trying to land all in the back of your hand, if you drop some but still have 1 or 2 then hold 1 and flip it on the air, while the coin is on the air try to pick up the coin you dropped and catch the other coin. you should NEVER just play ONE coin if you expect to win! The way to use the "skill stop" is to stop it when the top ledge is all the way out so that you don't drop coins on top of the other coins and more likely to get a push. If you put in at least 6 to 8 coins at one time on each side you can line the coins up to make one big push and win an entire ledge!

Bro.... I know this is a decade old but the convenience store around the corner from my house has one of these. The gaps are your friend. As far as the skill stop goes, it is most beneficial to stop shelf when it's all the way forward. When it retracts the quarter will stand on edge until the shelf cycles and advances again. If placed inline of another coin it allows player to get two moments out of one coin. Skill stopping when shelf is all the way advanced or at least when it's on the return trip and dropping multiple coins in different locations on the board is your BEST FRIEND. I literally never leave in the whole. I'm also a currency collector and have scored quite a handful of valuable coins out of these.

You can get a quarter or 5 by tapping on the sides BUT when anyone does it, the landslide of coins up against the lipped edge all slide back carrying other coins and the paper stuff. People can't resist doing it. You can watch a machine through the day and see those things start to get close and then later they will be much farther back. The illusion of cheating and getting away with it really helps the machine owner.

i think the one your playing the design is the angle and weight of coins prevents fall and favors a pile up. secret is they empty coins after somany hours to keep weight differential in favor of owner, as gambling machines the odds are set on a board inside machine to pay house at least 65% of the time.

Why is this video so hated? Do you hate him explaining reality to you or something? This is the best video of its kind, because he explains to you what causes the house edge, and demonstrates that it isn't something that will make you rich.

This machine is the worst game to play, its highly rigged against the player. the pusher has a soft bottom soas not to push the coins too much. the holes on the sides prevent side coins from moving forward. the front edge is raised

It's an illusion for sure. It's mostly the flared trough at the edge that makes the difference. It allow incredible buffering from pushed coins from the back. You'll almost never get more coins out than you put in. And the machine is "reset" at the end of the day by the owners skimming excess coins out.
