No problem. If you are looking to invest in bitcoin for the long term, then any time can be a good time to buy. If you are looking to trade it in the short term then you will need to study charts and do more advanced analysis. But keep in mind that trading cryptocurrency can be a lot more volatile than stocks. I am currently more of a long term investor in bitcoin. I used to trade bitcoin a long time ago but now I mostly invest in it instead. Because trading cryptocurrency can be a lot more volatile than stocks, I made quick profits at first, but then lost a lot of the profits after that. Now I am more of a long term investor in bitcoin and do not short term trade as much. I find it's much more sustainable. But you can definitely do either on Coinbase 👍

Yes whenever you sell Bitcoin on Coinbase you receive USD. You can then decide if you want to keep the cash on the exchange to buy back in at a later time or if you want to withdraw it to your bank. Now just to clarify, if after some time the price of Bitcoin increased by 50%, you would still have the same amount of Bitcoin but it would now be worth $300. So at that point if you wanted to sell your entire holding you would be receiving $300 (minus fees). Hope that makes sense.

Hey Charly. Once funds are in your USD wallet you will be able to buy bitcoin by opening up the bitcoin tab and clicking the "trade" button beneath the price chart. Once you click on trade you will see the option to buy or sell bitcoin using the funds in your USD wallet 👍

Luckily it increases on its own over time. If you go to the buy page you will see a link that says "increase my limits." Here it will show you how you can increase your limits to the next tier. I remember 2 ways to increase your limit is 1) the amount of time you've had an account and 2) after purchasing a certain amount.

There may be certain restrictions in certain countries. If you search for "Coinbase supported countries" on their website it will provide a list of which countries support buying/selling. I would recommend checking that page on their website to see if your country is supported. If they do not currently support buying or selling in your country you can always transfer your cryptocurrency from Coinbase to a local exchange that does support buying/selling in your country.

The value of your investment will fluctuate as the value of bitcoin fluctuates. But it's all percentages. So for example lets just say the current price of bitcoin is $8,000. If it drops $80 that means it dropped 1% of its value. So hypothetically if you invested $20 your investment would drop 1%, meaning it would drop 20 cents. And the same applies if the price goes up. However, please keep in mind that trading or investing in cryptocurrency is a lot more volatile than trading/investing in stocks. Cryptocurrency can increase in value very quickly but it can also drop in value very quickly. If you are looking for less risky and more stable growth you may want to consider investing in stocks. But if you do decide to invest in cryptocurrency never invest more than you can afford to lose 👍

To pay with bitcoin at an online store all you have to do is send bitcoin from your Coinbase wallet to the seller's wallet. To do this you just have to copy the "receiving address" from the online store's wallet. This may appear as a QR code or a long string of numbers. Once you get this then go back to Coinase and open your BTC wallet then click on send. Here you will paste that receiving wallet address and then choose the amount of BTC you want to send. Then you just have to click send to complete the purchase 👍

I don't believe they offer a discount using bank account anymore. Seems to be a flat rate.

Hey Sean, thanks for the update. So I just checked and according to the fee page on their website their new fee structure is the greater of (a) a flat fee or (b) a variable percentage fee determined by region, product feature and payment type. These are their current flat fees: - If the total transaction amount is less than or equal to $10, the fee is $0.99. - If the total transaction amount is more than $10 but less than or equal to $25, the fee is $1.49. - If the total transaction amount is more than $25 but less than or equal to $50, the fee is $1.99. - If the total transaction amount is more than $50 but less than or equal to $200, the fee is $2.99. These are their current variable percentage fees for U.S. users: - Bank account: 1.49% - Credit/debit card: 3.99% So if the flat fee is greater than it will be the same. But if the variable percentage fee is greater than the bank transfer will still charge a 1.49% fee and the credit/debit card will charge a 3.99% fee. Hope this helps 👍

Yes, everything is supported in the US. Are you referring to the website or the app (where you only see trade)?

Yes, that is it! After clicking on the "trade" button you should see the options to buy, sell, or convert. They redesigned the app a bit but it's still the same functionality 👍

I have never used Binance, but assuming it allows transfers then yes, you will be able to transfer from Binance to Coinbase and visa versa.

In most cases, no. Usually you can just scan the QR code and that is the same thing, but much faster 👍

Hi Louis. I'm sorry but Coinbase is not currently available in Nigeria. However, they are available in over 100 countries, so hopefully they will expand to Nigeria in the future as well 👍

Hey there. They've redesigned the app a little since I filmed this. Now to buy or sell inside the app all you have to do is click on the accounts tab (from the homepage of the app). From here you open up your desired cryptocurrency wallet. Next you simply click on the "Trade" button. From here you can choose to buy or sell 👍
