At 1.09 min , you accidentally dropped one of the coins. I hope it wasn't the elusive $2.00 red poppy coin. 😬 I saw on ebay the Hh $2.00 coins are being classed as rare. Some asking prices are $3,000.00! No joke. Thank God for your channel. I know better these 1988/99 are anything but rare. Love your videos as always.

Dam, i was into detecting a few years back and i specialised in digging up $2 coins, i did find these red poppy coins too as well as other coloured coins had no idea , i cashed all my coins in at the bank

In case you don't have one already, the NZ 10 cent coin had the words "one shilling" written on the bottom for the years 1967-1969 to help people get used to the decimal changeover.

Wow i have over 20 odd Poppy coins ,people have given to me on Anzac Day marches at the pub .before Dawn service ,The worst part buyers wont give you $3000 ,for a poppy coin

Hi Michael, really enjoy watching your videos, as I’m still learning about Australian decimal coins and minted errors. Recently found a 2008 5 cent coin with the hulla hoop ring around the echidna. Is that worth anything?

Best coin I ever found was counting the work coke machine 😂it was a 50 cent piece Australia 🇦🇺 yr of the children with a double mint clip of a sizeable size ❤I kept it for a few yrs then auctioned it off on line on a numismatics page to buy some other coins 😂

@@samanthafairweather9186 Are they still worth money to collectors Samantha? Australia and NZ having smaller populations, had less coins minted... (NZ more so than Aust) resulting in some coins going for pretty gd money. I'm new to this, but my dad collected pre decimal Aust and NZ coins. Edit: Commonwealth Bank spits all Kiwi coins for some reason!?!
