In my opinion the true value of any currency be it fiat or gold etc is that its considered to be valuable too others and trad-able for necessities Practically anything could be AKA money it just depends on the situation and who needs the commodity. Truth is cash as most people view it is valueless I.E. its all a mind game kinda like the script paper of the original American colones I believe it was called script and it was just a promise to pay or exchange property .

Exactly. Almost no one takes crypto currency. I can't buy necessities with it. Just paying for the right to make the transaction costs more than the majority of basic purchases.
