Oops!… I digit again, I've destroyed a 1998 Bunch coin set for a NIFC 10p and as I discovered a NIFC £1 coin as well, nice! 🤣

I did the same with a 1993, 1998 , 1999 and also a 1972 set. Have them all in proof sets so I didn't feel too bad

I mean yeh it makes me wince a little but they’re your coins to collect and keep as you wish! Can see the appeal of the date runs with the NIFC years and they have to come out of sets to get there

I have said before it's a shame to take coins out of sets, but often works out a lot cheaper than buying the coins individually especially if you need a few different denominations. I have managed to complete my £1 coin date run in proof coins up to 2016 and up to 2021 with bunc coins.
