I knew this series had abandoned its nerd roots when The Last Jedi barely got two sentences and instead focused on relationship and family drama. Like, one of the most divisive Star Wars films ever, yet the episode did nothing about that. It would have been fun to see all the guys arguing about it. Like, there's no way the non-stop complaining Sheldon wouldn't be ranting about this film.

i think the writers avoided that topic exactly on purpose of it being so divisive. doesnt mean you a wrong in general as the show could have been nerdier again in the later parts. but in that special case i think its clear why they wouldnt wanna touch that subjekt with a ten-foot-pole.
