the unexpected pauses she takes after Dama Dam and the unbelievably synchronised piece of music that is fit in these pauses (esp from the drummer) have given the song a whole new meaning. Yes it's different from the original track. But this different is truly beautiful. Give it a few more listens before criticising. Great job!

I must have listened to this version of Lal meri... At least 30 times now and every time I am amazed at the wholeness of the singing by QB and chanting of Akbar Ali, the drummer at his best, and the Violin blending in with singing, the Sitar just about stealing the show, and finally, the Jhoolay la, Jhoolay la Mast Qalandar Jhoolay la by the master qawwals synchronizes with the rest. The ending is intense. I can't say enough...
