Perhaps it shouldn't be. The attributes Rosalie is describing are more befitting God (Allah), than a human being. The fact that she attributes them to God is commendable. After all, Islam calls people to the worship of one God.

It's difficult to control the tears, it's powerful, just too powerful. I recall myself when I was living in the city of "Yanbu" driving my car, listening to this song, and approaching to Masjad-e-Nabwi (Madina city). Sometimes, while listening to the sentence "Ao Madine Chalen, Isi machine chalen" I used to take my car and go to Madina in Friday Jumma prayer. Later on, I stopped listening as it is not only a song but a recall to myself that who I am, and it becomes difficult to control my emotions.

You had me at "Khush Amadeed" 😻😻😻 Edit: For context, Madina is the second holiest site in Islam, the first being Makkah (Mecca) and the third being Al-Aqsa mosque (Jerusalem, Palestine). Madina is also the resting place of Prophet Muhammad [PBUH]. Madina is where Prophet and companions migrated (Hijrat) to escape persecution and start of Islamic calendar (Hijri).

As a side note, (controversial): this is more cultural than islamic. Traditionally and strictly speaking a Muslim is not allowed to pray/ask/seek from anyone but Allah, not even Prophets or Angels. Prophet himself forbade muslims from praising him in such a way that Christians did with Christ [PBUH].

@@thepropmachines1042 No you dummy, our beloved Prophet enjoyed entertainment for eg. he used to ask some of the african tribal folk to perform their ritualistic creative routine and also encouraged the drum to be played at battle since it aroused the fervour of passion! You are one of those people who make things up and only destroy your own self by secluding yourself from creative inspiration. The Qur'an itself was deliberately sent down in a poetic form because poetry was the highest form of writing at that time so the Islamic Scripture came to outdo their earthly poetical attempts. Islam is not against creativity as long as it is encouraging towards good and does not deviate from it then there is no rule against it. And why would God Create the human heart and not allow it to be moved! Creativity is one of the doors through where many find God in the first place.

Can you please cite some verses in the Quran where it said that prophet Mohammed was sent to “ destroy musical instruments?”. I hope you know of the story where prophet was welcomed by the people of Yatharib and serenaded by a song by the people who’d been eagerly awaiting his arrival that people still sing.@@thepropmachines1042

I feel that reactors not from the native language being sung don't justify the actual feelings that arise from listening to the artists tone, expressions, mood and the emotions they generate within the listener, especially from ghazals, naats, qawalis etc, but you really did get it , its not the rythem but the deep spiritual meanings in the lyrics, very well explained Rosalie 🙂, ofcoarse lots of credit to one of the Top Pakistani singers, Atif as well.
