As a pahadi ( from the Indian state of Uttarakhand ) this video made me realise that a lot of melodies, culture and dressing is common among the people from the mountains. Kashmiris, Himachalis and Uttarakhandi share a lot of dressing and cultural similarities, for example, the tune of the songs, the dressing and even the dances share a lot of commonalities, which I see even in this video. Hope to someday come to Pakistan and see this place first hand.

Ravimohan Chauhan this is Kalash Tribe from KPK. They are rumoured to have roots from tribes of Alexander the great and are a genetically isolated from all other race or ethnic groups and practise ancient hinduism or islam. Interesting what you said about shared culture and language of mountain people. However they are not kashmiri if that is what you are trying to point at. It is a completely unrelated indiginous tribe. Its even written in the end of the video incase you missed.

Thank you for your reply Fatma, and sorry for a late one from me. Actually, in that again there is a commonality. The Hinduism practised in my part of the world, is also an old form of it. We do not have the traditional Hindu gods, but local gods with local folklore. We also, physically, look like the people in the video, in fact, one of the ladies in the video looks like my Mausi and one like my Bhabhi. We have European features like fair skin and light coloured eyes ( which makes people mistake us for foreigners and try and charge us 10X the price ) and unique cultural practices like Polygyny ( a woman could have up to 5 husbands, the practice is discontinued since the late 1950s though). I wish we had proper historical research in our part of the world rather than propaganda, would make such an interesting read.
