Every genre is beautiful, to be honest. I love Indian classical, Indian folk, western classical, hip hop, rap, pop, country, folk, latin, etc. I think what sets songs apart is the dedication of artists and the time put in. But in the world of commercialisation and instant gratification, a huge majority demands songs instantly. Lot of classical music be it Indian or western demands years and years of rigorous training. A lot of people don't have either luxury of resources or patience to see it through, so good songs are few and far in between in a sea of mediocre songs. It wasn't as if bad songs were not produced back in time but only the most legendary songs survive the test of time. Thankfully. That's why Amit Trivedi is in league of those music composers who choose their projects very carefully, and more often than not their music is pretty awesome. But the catch is not a whole lot of people listen to it. Look at the views of some average song and this masterpiece. Somewhere majority of listeners also lack patience to listen and understand a song. That's what I think.😊

This song reminds me of my school trip to Rajasthan it was really a blast takes me bck to the good times oh god i cant stop reliving those moments again. Me and my friend were dressed in traditional rajasthani attire and running through the golden streets of Jaisalmer and some singer was singing this in the bg. Loved it

Same here! South Indian by birth, brought up in Maharashtra, went to Jaipur for a Industrial visit in 2008(which was my dream, because I love that state, culture, monuments,language, songs,food,everything). So it was a great trip and went back in November 2023 with my husband to explore Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and absolutely loved it! Udaipur and so many other places are still on my list to visit❤
