The pulp color is amazing! The birds in the background. LOL They are telling you to leave the figs alone!

Growing up back in the early to late 60's I worked at a peach apple and cherry orchard, and was taught pruning the trees would get the trees to set more fruit come spring, then in spring I would have to go back with a broom handle attached with a heater hose from a car and thin the clumped fruit so they would get bigger fruit, because people always wanted bigger fruit not so much more fruit, which I could never understand, because back in that time people always wanted more and into now they want bigger very confusing where taste didn't seem to matter if they could get more,I grow a lot of different fruit trees but just now getting into figs and persimmons,as I feel the textures are closely related and I love there taste, you do a great job with your videos.

Wondering if this will ripen in San Francisco. I’m interested in getting some cuttings from you!

Probably only in the warmest of areas and maybe along the south side of a home to get an earlier start.

Figaholics thanks for your reply! I think I might want to try it out. I have a fig tree in ground that I might want to try grafting it to. It has southern exposure. It gets quite warm in there if there is no fog .

Hey Harvey which version do you like better this one or Vasile I've enjoyed watching all your videos

I don't have a preference between the two other than whichever one I'm closer to at any particular time. I try to give all of my figs equal love. :)

@@Figaholics fair enough, as I watch you eat them they definitely look like they deserve their place in the orchard, thanks for your reply
