That’s great to hear!! Yeah it definitely takes time, and sometimes, a little trial and error but around the 8-12 month mark, you’ll notice a bigger turnaround in transformation because you would have culled / shopped a little more (so you’ll also get to know great shopping times!) and the gaps become fewer and fewer (or you start to build on another part of the wardrobe such as accessories. Yay I’m so glad to hear you’re finding these videos helpful!! Appreciate your time in leaving a comment too 🥰

What brand/model is Cola's blazer? I have a hard time finding an oversized one that suits my short and curvy frame and would love a recommendation!

Cola’s blazer is from Decjuba! I think it may be out of stock since it was from end 2022, but definitely keep an eye on Decjuba coz they release blazers throughout the year and their price points + quality is a great match! OOH and if you’d like some more definition the waist, they have a piece called called the “Carly” (or carley) blazer which is part of their core range! Check it out for shape (it does tend to have gold or silver buttons so if you want something more low-key and ultimately versatile, just try it on for fit, and if you’re happy with the fit, it’ll then be time to search for one with plain black buttons with the same fit! That way, you’ll know if you love the silhouette and then lead with that 🥰

I learned in another video that short ankle boots shorten your leg go badly with some Jean types etc.

Yes I agree! Cola usually wears full length / wide leg pants, so the ankle boot works well for her, but if you wear lots of straight leg and/or cropped styles, this kind of boot may be a little tricker to work with! Cropped styles or jeans which finish just above the ankle work really easily with shoes like loafers and shoes which aren’t closed at the ankle (sneakers are a bit of an exception though!)

Aw that makes sense since fashion does move! The main thing is the shape and the height of the ankle part of the boot. Tony Bianco tends to have a similar version every year. If I find any shoppable ones, I’ll share on IG!
