Deep sympathy for Canadians. Our Australian federal Parliament and several States saw protests by antivax, anti-mandate, anti-5G, "sovereign citizens" etc. "Freedom!" protests - with pro-Mango Mussolini and other USA-political-system-based banners. One bunch even set fire to the (heritage, local massive wood) doors of our Old Parliament House, a national museum, while claiming to represent the indigenous people - though the elders at the Aboriginal Tent Embassy, a long established perpetual protest, disagreed and said they were outsiders. I think about 5% of humans are easily misled, and this pandemic seems to have increased the international reach of the misleaders. Mind you, even before that we had people trying to "plead the fifth" and claim they weren't read their Miranda rights.

And that is a small number when you consider most of those people travelled from out West. These people aren't from one city, they have converged from different locations. Everyone assumes I'm a guy...I'm not. Even if you're perfectly healthy, if you catch covid, and if it's bad, you're taking a bed in the hospital. Our hospitals are already full of covid patients, so much so people with cancer treatments and surgeries are being postponed. If the hospital is full and you get into a car accident or have a heart attack, how are they going to take you in if they're full of covid patients?

President Biden and Prime Minister Trudeau conversed about what had been happening in Canada and agreed that at LEAST 50% of the funding came from the US. And the 911 system in Ottawa (the capital of Canada, as you should know) was shut down by criminals in the USA. That's why there were confederate flags in this protest, Stephen. Unfortunately some of the disgusting activities such as defecating on people's lawns and dancing on the war memorial are happening. This may or may not be truckers. They have taken over the city with their 'Freedom Convoy' and are ignoring Ottawa residents freedom to travel safely around their city and get a night's sleep.
