I have loved her since I saw her on the Good Wife. Why it took so long to get her own show confounds me. I never saw True Blood, but I saw her first in My Best Friends Wedding and Person of Interest. She seems very sweet. I think she was on Lost too, which starred her husband.

I'm pretty sure that when I first saw her as Elsbeth, on The Good Wife, I was likely recognising Carrie Preston from True Blood... But Elsbeth was such a strong character that, over the years, I had completely forgotten she was ever in True Blood until I saw an episode the other day! It's like if you asked most current fans of Robert Downey Jr. what his previous roles were before Iron Man! Indeed, Elsbeth is Carrie Preston's Iron Man! ;-]
