This is the one to watch for 2016. I'm definitely voting for Scott Walker in the Republican primary, even if he's dropped out. If he can only do to the federal employee unions what he did to Michigan's crooked state employee unions, that alone would be worthy of my support. A Wisconsin-style school reform initiative, maybe even with a Milwaukee-style school choice pilot program extended nationwide, would just be icing on the cake.

I've been rooting for a Scott Walker presidency since early 2011. All other politicians talk a big game and might do a little bit of it if they get elected. Walker isn't flashy, and he doesn't have the grandest policy proposals, but here in Wisconsin he did what he said he was going to do, and that counts for a lot. I sincerely hope he runs again in the future.

Scott Walker has done a great job in Wisconsin. He's managed to balance the budget whilst cutting taxes and letting middle class folks keep more of what they earn. He did it by cutting wasteful government programs and ending the pension giveaways to corrupt unions. We need that kind of thinking in Washington.

It's funny, because I came up with a drinking game for the debate too! In my version, you had to drink every time a question was asked, or answered, and you had to finish your drink anytime someone mentioned god, Jesus, or the bible. I don't remember how it worked out, but I woke up in the shower, so something either wonderful, or extremely, extremely terrible happened.
