Nixon also spent 2 years trying to pass a universal basic income that would have after adjusting for inflation been about $100 less than Yangs. During that time frame the US lead the world in most metrics, since Reagan all those stats have fallen. During that time frame the middle class was the healthiest its been in the history of the union.
