Just received a damaged radiator that I purchased from Champion for my c10. Obviously damaged by Fed Ex during transport. Called Champion, explained, sent photos, they will file a claim and ship me a new radiator at no cost to me.

They have a lifetime warranty. They have a free exchange, and shipping within 4 mouths. Not a bad deal. The new GM OEM radiators don’t have a petcock no more.

So what radiator works best??????!

I had issues getting it to fit on my 61 Impala. Had to use spacers because original fan shroud does not sit flush like the original radiator. Made several mods in order for it to fit. Once installed, hoses and transmission coolant lines did not fit properly (more mods). Finally installed and it has a leak. Just emailed and we’ll see what happens front there.

I had the same problem. 2nd one is already leaking and bs to make us pay for shipping. I'm not paying shipping again and don't even want to install another one if it only lasts a few months

My second cold case radiator just went bad 🙄. Leaking in the exact same spot. Where the tank and fins meet.

Mine just started leaking also in my Jeep JK, I contacted them and they asked for proof of purchase, photo of leak and serial number. Is there a serial number etched on to the radiator somewhere?

First cold case radiator started to leak less than a year. I paid the shipping for the replacement. Now this cold case also started to leak less than a year.

Good info, sir. And good to know that they are NO HELP if something goes wrong!

I had a bad experience with them as well. The tech department was useless and his solution was exactly what it says not to do to not void the warranty lol.

Good to here im not the only one! I have the new one sitting in the box but honestly i dont even wanna mess with it! But i feel bad selling it to someone else too!

@@828AdrenalineFlunkies I didn’t/haven’t had any leak issues but the fitment of a direct bolt in radiator required shims and the cut off wheel lol. I would run it but for sure keep a hawk eye on it for a while. If you want to sell the one that leaks I may be interested. I need one for a run stand and I’ll just have it welded up.

Dang, not the video I was hoping for but sounds about right... Put one in my wrangler a couple years ago and it dripped since new. Well, I didn't drive it much until recently and after this winter it's leaking pretty good now. Guess I should've read the fine print on their lifetime warranty. No idea who to go with though... Factory plastic crap or a $700 Mishimoto radiator 😔

Found this after seaching for Cold Case problems. Brand new CC radiator for Jeep XJ leaked at bottom trans line as soon as engine was started. Bung is visibly crooked, not letting inverted flare fitting seat right. Haven't made a claim, and honetly don't want to after this.

Super aggravating when your new product you paid good money for fails out of the box :(

I had a couple bad experiences with champion cooling.. 1-2 weeks it leaked at the core/fins 30 bucks a pop to ship bad one to get replacement which also leaked . ..after the 2nd one i said F it and went custom for 500. At the time, best to get was Alumitech radiators..which sadly folded Id recommend getting a custom one from R and D fabrication!

I have a LS swap in my Chevelle and this is my 4th Radiator swap .. all less than 1yr. Also, I don’t drive this car really unless it’s to shows or to get cleaned . I would NOT RECOMMEND purchasing this garage!!!!!!!!! I wouldn’t take it for FREE!! They will swap it out though everytime but you will pay shipping .

Bought a tri-five chevy complete cooling assy with fans and rad support, looks snazzy but after 3 to 4 months and only a few hundred miles it leaked at the tube ends just like this one, got a warranty replacement radiator, 5 months and a few hundred more miles it is leaking at the same area. Stay away from this brand at all costs.

I agree I'm on my third radiator from this for the same tri five system and it leaked again, ughhh. Soo much waste of money
