Can we all just give thanks and a round of applause for all the technological advancements that have allowed previously unsolved cases to now be solved? Whoever developed these newer techniques (all of them), I salute you!

Yes, you can definitely tell this video is from the late 90’s when the narrator says “In the next Century…! 😂

😢🎉🎉”even though they were prostitutes they were still people”. I love cops who say stuff like this because when I was a very young teenage run away I was drugged, raped, beaten and forced into prostitution. I escaped as soon as possible and thankfully wasn’t caught.

Unfortunately a lot of cops don't see it that way. My channel covers true crime and we've covered a few serial killers. And more often than not, serial killers always go for sex workers or homeless because they know that the police (not all police mind you) think that these people are 'less than' and not 'worthy' for the effort it would take to investigate. We covered a serial killer named Maury Travis a while back and police didn't really start investigating until like the 4th or 5th victim were found.

Some people are too stupid to commit murder so shouldn’t try. I may be one of those people.

Just a question, if they use the superglue test in a car, does the print stay in the car? Can the car be used afterwards or will the prints still be showing?

Fingerprint and DNA evidence is exactly why I try to keep every surface in my home wiped clean at least once a week, more if possible. Especially doors, windows, jambs, handles, etc I have always (since about 1980) wiped down those surfaces about every other day. Why? Because if anything ever happened, I'm trying to give detectives a clean slate to work with. Basically, cleaning off old prints, etc daily or every 2 days, a week at most so any prints they find, are gonna be mine and the perpetrator only.

The narrator said "prostitutes & other women". What's that supposed to mean? Why not say "women"? It's just as bad when cops treat prostitutes as if they're subhuman or refer to them disrespectfully. Each one is someone's daughter & somebody somewhere loves them. I care about them. No need to keep referring to them as prostitutes throughout the video. We already know their profession. It's not who they are. They're a niece, sister, aunt, or mom. Many are forced into it, held captive physically & mentally by sex traffickers & pimps. Their I.D.s & passports are usually taken, so they won't flee, especially if they're smuggled from another country. Many are addicted to drugs, which may be the only reason they sell their bodies. So many are minors, either abducted or runaways. Instead of looking down on the women who sell their bodies, reach out to them, using common sense & safety precautions. Offer to help them find services to get them off the streets. Offer to send them home on a bus, etc. Encourage rehab for addicts. Dont think of them as trash like like so many do. I've said my piece. God bless & stay safe. ❤
