Wow the Prague looks nice! I have one as well, but it’s very small.

Impressive fruit set on your Prague!

Some branches are better then others. I thought the fruit set was not that good for how many flowers it had but I know it has trouble setting fruit.

Glad the Swingles are recovering for you! Prague steals the show, I can't wait until ours are a similar size. The last citrus looks more like a US-852 citrandarin to me. I'm probably going to have some 5star citrumelo and Bishop citrandarin cuttings available soon if you wanted to try those varieties - they're both very hardy.

Yes they are coming along nice for how cold we got. I thought the same thing about the last plant, I have a small US-852 about the same size and the leaves are a lot bigger on it so I don't know for sure what is going on but will be interesting to find out what the fruit are like. Thanks for the offer on the the 5 star citrumelo and Bishop citrandarin but I already got some this spring, but I'll keep that in mind if they don't make it through the winter. Have you ever grown carolina lime or dragon lime?
@themulberries5 ай бұрын
@@sweethomealabamahomestead4504 you're welcome! Yes I have one specimen of each, I'm keeping the carolina lime in a pot in an unheated greenhouse and the dragon lime is in our test orchard. Both are growing very nicely for their first season, I'll show them off in a video soon.

@@sweethomealabamahomestead4504 I have yet to try carolina lime yet though, but we did get to sample dragon lime when unripe (green) and ripe (orange) and found it tasted like a more bitter lime when green, and had a bitter lime/mandarin flavor when orange. We'll see how it tastes grown here in NC however, those fruit were taken from Stan's tree in SC which is not in the best of health.

Does Prague root well from cuttings? Would you be willing to sell me some cuttings?
@sweethomealabamahomestead45045 ай бұрын
I have tried to root that with no luck so far. I have heard of some people doing it though. Stan the citrus man sells Prague, he is a great guy, just give him a call.
