Why do you run a loop before the material goes into the head? Why not have the uncoiler closer to the head and the head pull the material directly off it. Why so many edge guides? Why separate the cuts at the top of the loop pit and then run them through separator discs anyway. I ask these questions because I run a 60 wide slitter line that does full 25 ton master coils but at the sometimes i also run little (2 to 10 ton) coils as thin as .48mm into coils as narrow as 2.5cm and do up to 24 cuts at a time. The head on my machine pulls the material directly off the uncoiler and they are about 4 to 5 meters apart. I run most material around 200 meters/minute. It just seems like there is a crazy amount of tinkering with your setup and so many things are overly complicated.
