This song reminds me of a former co-worker who can’t be with us anymore due to circumstances beyond his control, because he was a victim of a violent act. I harbor some of the guilt from it. This song is tough to listen to, but I love it.

@@heraclitus6100 I'm not op, but this feels a bit like absence for me too. It's a sort of melancholy, nostalgic kind of absence, though. It's almost happy in a weird way. It sort of reminds me of when I was little and I didn't fully understand that other people existed yet. I wasn't ever really anxious, and everything was just, sort of, good. I'll never feel like that again, but I'm still happy that I got to feel like that for awhile and I'm excited for everything I get to do now. I still miss it from time to time, but in that way that you would miss an old friend you'll probably never get to meet again. If you're willing to tell me, what does this song feel like to you?
