I think that the water represents our self doubt, the shells represents our insecurity. When he hugged the girl, he left some shell on her, which means that he probably shared about his insecurities, he turned red which represents that he was embarassed about his insecurities. But, the girl didn't mock him for it, she gave him her own shell which was in her coat, which means that she probably told him about her insecurities, and unlike him she was more conscious about her insecurities and therefore she conciously gave (told) it to him. Overall, this story tells you that insecurities are just and you should reach out for connections if you are feeling lonely and need it

I had this exact situation happen with myself but it did end in the other person ghosting me. In my expirence it was from dependancy caused by trauma, which led to over attachment. It is difficult to work through. But Its nice to find content expressing exactly how it feels navigating relationships with these feelings.

Yeah the parts before their meet up are what i felt myself with different people, but the seashore part was me trying to come up with some possible solution Nevertheless i think its important to be honest about your feeling but in careful way, so you don't overwhelm the second party. And if it doesn't go well maybe it's good to know that they weren't willing to put much effort for you for sure and have realistic expectation of their behavior

This was precious and I’m so glad KZbin algorithm brought me here. Lovely animation and sound design. The style of art is beautiful. The story is even better. You have a way of creating a story with no words necessary, and that, in itself, is a skillful art. This made me think a lot about how we often fear how others may think or react to us, yet when you take that dreadful leap and meet each other at the middle- you both realize that you just let fear speak louder than adventure and exploration. I love the Tetris speech bubbles while they talk to one another, indicating that they both have common interests and enjoy each other’s company. And the lady keeping his shell (maybe his fears/insecurities personified) and her giving him back her own fear/insecurity. The hugs were so wholesome. Dating seems to be really difficult and scary, but once you can push past the fears: you can end up meeting really genuine people.

Ох, как же я прониклась этой атмосферой. Приятные цвета, построение кадров. Видно как в эту анимацию вложили душу, труд и эмоции. Мне очень нравится разные фишки в стиле и то как анимировались некоторые момент. Мне так же нравится звуковое сопровождение. В начале тишина очень сильно давила, так же сильно как одиночество, но в конце это было больше похоже на умиротворение и спокойствие. А стиль рисунка заслуживает отдельного внимания, он так дополняет повествование своим минимализмом. В самом деле, я не могу описать сколько всего прекрасного есть в 3 минтуах, эта работа так отзывается в моём сердце, наверное из-за этого я пересмотрела её раз пять. Надеюсь работа получит больше внимания, а автору спасибо и удачи.

I really loved the animation, the sound effects and especially the way love is demonstrated Everything I wrote and my humble opinion It is shown at the beginning that even though he is at work he still checks his cell phone wanting to receive a message and at the same time he wants to send a message but he feels that it will disturb his loved one and repress his feelings but he still feels bad throughout along the way and even has a nightmare that shows the principal's fear of losing his loved one and even a metaphor that the moment his beloved falls apart between his fingers the principal breaks, which could imply that he breaks just by thinking about this possibility And the shells are his loved one's thoughts or his fears, and which he throws away not wanting to think about it and hiding it in the back of his mind And I love how the water can be interpreted by his thoughts about her filling the room little by little which can say that even if he doesn't realize his loved one will always be in his mind and in the scene where he goes to sleep and insinuate that his battery is low and when he receives a notification and he thinks that it is from his loved one that it fills up and you can see at 1:38 the water shines but it returns to normal when it was not his loved one, but when he receives another notification the glow returns at 1:48 and intensify it even further by showing the thoughts that the main one has of his loved one and being able to insinuate that any notification he is anxious about could be from his loved one How is it shown that he is not cold by will but that he has a love so deep that he wants to be a part of his beloved in 1:52 but at the same time he is afraid of being so oppressive to his beloved that they fear her loved one leaves because of this And when they arrange a meeting, the main one quickly marks it on the calendar, and the shells return, but now on his face, perhaps being interpreted that he is afraid of ruining the meeting, making an expression with no ill intention, but being interpreted like that and he tries hiding showing he's not worried but he still has it in his hair saying that no matter how hard he tries these thoughts are still there And on the day of the meeting, at first they don't have any topic and then he says taking a shot in the dark, possibly insinuating that he wanted to start a conversation when the purple cat tries to catch the fish but fails but when his loved one responds another cat appears. pink and so they manage to catch the fish, being able to mean that the conversation was encouraged and they talk being insinuated by tretix that every time one finishes there is another being able to insinuate that even if a subject dies they can still talk about other subjects and so they start to loosen up more And the scene where the two are watching the sea, but he is watching his loved one and then watching the sea and his loved one looks at him and smiles, which could imply that she knew he was looking at her, and holds his hand and he starts to enter in ecstasy and he feels so many feelings that he hugs her trying to show how happy he was for everything But when he notices the shells that have stuck to her, he feels ashamed for showing everything, the positive and negative feelings and the fear and anxiety, and trying to remove them from her but when she holds one and realizes that they are all that, she smiles and keeps it and shows a star of the sea, being able to insinuate that she also had the same thoughts and when he receives her, she embraces him, being able to say that even with all these feelings she would still love him P.S: Starfish symbolizes love in some religions it can symbolize love (⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠)

Aww ❤️ I love this! It reminds me of me and my boyfriend. Im a very independent, keep to myself kind of person. And he’s an outgoing and outreaching kind of guy. He’s also very affectionate while I’m not. At the start of our relationship I thought he was clingy, despite being long distance. I thought that we should cut it off about half a year into dating because I couldn’t understand how we could make it work given our circumstances and being who we were at the time. However, four years later (still long distance and trying real hard to close the distance) we’ve come to understand and change for each other and ourselves. The way we show love to each other is different, but the love is still there. ❤️ While it’s not pleasant, I think it’s really important to show the “ugly/rough” sides of relationships because in those moments we have the chance to take a step back and reevaluate ourselves and the other person/people involved in the relationship as well as the reason(s) why we stay together. This animation made me wonder if what your character felt was what my boyfriend felt in the ugly/rough moments of our early relationship. The way you portray feelings, memories and how they affect each other is done extremely well. Thank you for creating this story. It’s beautiful!

ive seen this video some months ago and always thought it was about a person with abandonment issues. A lot has happened since and honestly, thank you youtube for recommending it again. I think I understand this video a lot better now and as someone who (possibly) has bpd, it does give me hope. It captures so many things perfectly, how everything is so calm and peaceful, no bombing of affection or assurances that the other person (and I too) craved for but just everything moving on, with or without you. Really really beautiful art in this!! I could never tell what was going to happen next and every shift of style or unexpected turn had me loving it more and more. (Though that's not to say the story wasn't clear- i more mean when something like the black & white scene happened or the room being full of water or the hand holding -> glitchy out of body effect. At all times i was just like woah cool!! I didn't know that was gonna happen!!) And the framerate/fluidity of the animation was really nice to look at as well

This is an amazing animation, no idea why the algorithm waited nearly two weeks to show me it! I haven't read the original webtoon so I'm a bit out of the loop but man was this well made!!!! The atmosphere gets to me so much because even though I've never been there, I look at those towns and locations and know I've been there. if that makes sense. there's a clear story being communicated and the complete lack of dialogue, only expression through atmosphere is so so cool I love it!!
