Cold Sparks Are Back! Why We’re Adding Them to Our DJ Services Again.

New Jersey has raised the permit fee needed to run these type of units over 300 dollars per event. This is too much for me to operate since I do more smaller events than weddings. The second problem is that this option has been out for more than 2 years, so I might be too late for the sparks party. It's still a cool option to sell, but it doesn't work what I offer.

I was thinking of doing them, but with all the licenses and fees you have to pay, makes it way to much to charge a client for. The venue needs to have a fire Marshall and all that. License fees are 100.00 a year.

These are iR? Seems like you hae to be right next to them and point the remote directly at them? That would suck if you're by yourself. The ones we have I have had them set up 50-60 feet from me and with the RF remote, I can trigger them from my DJ station. Do you have to connect these with a dmx cable or does the remote fire both off at the same time?

They are RF! You do not have to point the remote at the unit
