I had a 1958 Olds very similar to that. I loved to listen it to it cranking during a cold start.

Do you keep batteries in all your cars? If so, maybe battery tenders would help keep them charged up during the winter. There's nothing more annoying that wanting to go on a drive and then have a dead battery...

He has not a clue as to how to start an old car. Ever dawn on you to leave the starter engaged a bit longer than 1/1000ths of a second? LOL!
