Thanks for the video ! Same thing with my 1973 LC Mk IV, quite a wicked engine (the famous 460 V8) to start especially in winter. It sounds a bit like a Spitfire airplane or even a cigarette boat at coldstart. The sound is absolutely amazing.

Keep your eyes peeled at all times. the prices most people are asking for these cars are unjustifiable, every once and a while, you will find one for sale that is priced correctly. something like the stock skylark in this video can be found for under $10k if you look hard and long enough!

My quadrajet on my 403 is not as enthusiastic as your 2bbl Roch! Then there's the Holley 2bbl I put on my Mercury although doing better with my fettling. The Motorcrap 4350 is...well...😅 Prime them all and they are ready!
