i just sharpened with worksharp precision adjust. the angles were 23 and 18. another problem is a small gap between the right scale and the locking part. and some weird glue on thumbstud's thread, very easy to unlock. it was bought from a certified site, Lamnia (Finland).

I found there to be no glue (locktite) on my other 4-max. Sharpening angles are often a bit different side to side on most knives. You certainly notice it a lot more when you go to sharpen a knife on a guided sharpening system

Aus10 is a really tuff steel and on a blade that thick I would imagine it to be indestructible.

He didn't put enough heat in it to harm the temper. Use your head, he literally touched the thumb stud and it did not burn him. You aren't very bright.
