Great video. I did not expect to own a Cold Steel knife, but I bought this one while I am waiting for another drop of the Andrew Demko AD-20. I agree with your opinion - it's a great knife at an incredible price. It can be easily flicked open or Spydie flicked, and as you said, it drops shut. I also like that it is ambidextrous. The only issue I have found so far is that the contact point of the pin at the end of the yoke that runs along the polished rounded end of the blade before dropping into the notch to lock the blade can make the travel rough when anything gets in the way like dirt, lint, etc. Otherwise, after disassembling it and cleaning it out, it is really smooth.

Cold Steel is doing some awesome things. I think they are the New ZT. ZT has lost its luster. All they do lately is put out different knife variations and act like its a new release. Just finally ordered my Code 4 to go with my Prolite and looking at some others. This is definitely a working mans knife.

I still own the original cs recon 1 when it had the axis lock. Deff a fidget factor. In my opinion when they switched to the tri-ad lock they should have called it something else and not a recon 1. As it changed the locking mechanism and made the knife much thinner.
