52100 is a real brittle steel normally its good for edge retention but not really good for big knives its also one of the cheapest steels you can get but thos voids in the steel where it was breaking again shows they used a really low qualtiy steel they got that new chinesium lol

Looks like we got the answer: That Steel is too brittle, so apparently they couldn't get that stuff soft enough to bo tough enough. It should work now!👍

Thanks very informative information! I’m asking this question before I finish the video,so you may be covering my question…so is there advantage of having removable magazine? All my rifles are internal magazines. Looks like the possibility of loosing your removable magazine,could just ruin your day and hunt of a lifetime,unless you have extra,if not feeding shell one at time in heat of the moment. All mine have the quick release to dump my internal magazine. I notice that a lot of the precision long range target guns will almost always have the removable mags. Just curious what your thoughts is on that subject.also don’t you lock tight your mounts rails & scopes too? Thanks !

It looks like Cold steel isn't really concerned with the quality of the materials they're choosing. They've changed the steels on all their big bowie knives, some of them even come from Pakistan now. Their premium knives are no longer premium. Its disappointing.
