I don't think the devs care about supporting the game anymore. Every time someone asks for something they point out the game's modding tools and tell people to fix it themselves.

They implemented lots of stuff since the release, so I don’t think it’s fair to expect that to continue forever. I also wish more to be added into the game, but looking forward to their new titles as well.

It's too bad that the devs moved on. This game has a lot of potential. I would imagine that adding in more subs, surface ships, helicopters, and maybe even planes would have improved sales.

Ppl forget that a dev needs to live aswel. They dont earn any extra money by adding minor things. Granted they could probably sell a surface ship dlc but still.

@@gamingwithegoon I guess it's easier for them to abandon one game to move on to another. Seeing how this studio is used to working on mobile games I guess it shouldn't be a surprise. Selling dlc would make them some decent money though.

You can use asroc against ships no problem

If this becomes really refined and part of thr game it will be fun. Especially if they asd all thr callsigns for surface combat. It would be really cool the hear the TAO(pretty sure thats what they call em) screaming "Vampire Vampire Vampire!". The choices you can pick as well. A arliegh burke, older destroyers, crusiers, battleships, even aircraft carriers if a controlable aircraft mechanic becomes avalable.

The guys who make the game just need to do a version like this for surface ships. If you see the notes for it, it's limited in scale...no guns, aaa isn't working, you can't launch helicopters, and increased tonnage for your ship cause avoiding missiles and torpedoes is impossible so you would die in one hit otherwise. But other than that, glad to see a mod for it.

Late ass reply but some of the creative minds behind CW (not all, but some of them afaik) are working on a new game called Sea Power which has playable ships, planes, submarines, etc. It looks fucking baller if you ask me.

@ 1:04 ok in the loading screen it said your ship was the USS RathBurn ff-1057, but the second you loaded in your ship is actually the USS W.S. Sims FF- 1059, a ship in which my grandfather was a EWO on. who ever created this mod was blind or got a 7 and a 9 mixed up.

ROC navy still have 6 Knox class frigates in service, and all of them are operative.

This is badly implemented. The Knox Class frigate could not use Tomahawks at all and the number of missiles it carries in game is way too high. Also wheres the Harpoon missiles?

depends if Iowa can close the range quick enough to use those 16 inch guns to put Kirov down. If Kirov can keep the range she can overwhelm Iowa with missiles, overrun the missile defence system.

@@RomanHistoryFan476AD I agree about Iowa's anti missile defense getting overwhelmed but it my be hard to disable the Iowa if kirovs missiles hit the armour belt the missiles would have to do a plunging angle which might yield the Iowa more time to intercept it
