@@pamelawilliamsartography MMOs are Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games. The social activities to do with other players is the point. Dead MMOs are when you've played a MMO in the past in once-crowded areas, but then you revisit those areas again now, only to find them empty of the crowds you remember. Examples are Seer's Village in RuneScape 3 or any prior expansion capital city in World of Warcraft (Shattrath, Dalaran, Boralus, & a few others).
