If you like putting on your thinking cap, and are into trial and error, then I would extremely highly recommend picking up Desperados 3 or Shadow Tactics (or both!). In terms of gameplay they’re extremely similar and the only real differences are the setting and the story. I love both games a ton, and if you end up liking them too, the studio currently has a pirate themed game in this style in development, which I’m super excited for myself.

As a 2d platformer fan, I just love katana zero, great game. Don't even hesitate to buy. Now I'm waiting for other titles. One of them is obviously Hollow knight silksong. Other one is anomaly agent and it really is like katana zero, gives me same vibes. It also has cyberpunk art style whic is another feature that I just like about these game. Now I'm waiting for both.

Isnt it crazy that 90% of the list is filled with either indie titles or games that are older!? Triple A games nowadays seem to be murdered by shady, predatory monetization tactics (OW, Diablo 4, generally anything Blizzard) or just IDGF about FUN type games (Suicide Squad,Forspoken,Crimeboss,CODMW3, Redfall) or bugfest type games (almost every game above).

I bought Oxygen Not Included on steam, it is amazing game you can easily spend hundreds or more hours in it. I got it on sale for 14$ with the dlc.

ehh, portal 1 just felt like a prototype because is basically was. some puzzles felt quite janky and also the fact that there are a lot more timing based puzzles which i personally dont find as enjoyable portal 2 also eases you into the mechanics a lot better imo, and obviously has a way more fleshed out story
