First off coldplay just gets me going lol so Beyoncé and Chris are extremely good friends , she didn’t want to be credited . He wrote this to explain someone or something coming into your life that gives you the high of “ being drunk and high “ or helps lift you up in a hard time . He doesn’t drink or do drugs so he likes to play around with the concept of it in a different way . He said Beyoncé was the angel reference in the song !! Love this and I love the title because it’s exactly what it is a hymn for the weekend ! So the spiritual side of what getting drunk on the weekend feels like ? Haha oh and they always make a point to include diversity and different cultures especially in recent years

It was pretty real, since while having fun with colors, it isn't pretty or colorful or asthetic like generally videos show, it's just messy and fun and filthy which is half the fun

Coldplay definitely brings people from all over the world together. I'm on Twitter and there's a huge fan community from everywhere. You don't know most of them personally but everyone is welcomed openly with all their experiences and problems. This band has also shown me a lot personally. The music has helped me in hard times and even now I know that it is ok to be myself. Because everyone can be loved as they are. And you can see that in the songs. People come from everywhere and no matter what religion or country and share the same opinion and the same fun. ❤️🧡💛💚💙

A Coldplay music video and a Suffi Reax Coldplay video, today is a great day for Coldplay fans. This song is far from being my favorite song from them but the videoclip and the instrumental part are flawless, this last thing probably mostly because Avicii was a producer on this song. Beyoncé I think is just considered "back vocals" and I think I read somewhere that when this was released there was some sort of polemic around her so they probably didn't include her in the credits to avoid insults towards her and towards the band?
