James, thank you so much for making tutorials with G, Cadd9, Dsus, and Em. One of the most difficult things as a beginner is that playing an actual song is the inital motivation to pick up the guitar, but it seems so far away and difficult before it's possible. Of course in the long term, the other versions of chords need to be learned, but I really appreciate having some level of satisfaction early in the guitar journey. YOU ARE THE BEST!! for 2 months I’ve been rage quitting every time I sit down to learn because I get so overwhelmed by switching chords. This video just helped me get through the WHOLE SONG without struggling. I just did 8 down strums instead of following the strum pattern so I could focus on the chords! my next step is to slowly work into the strumming pattern! thank you so much for this tutorial, you’re a life saver!!

Tune the open top E string to 4th fret on the B string Or using a tuner tune the top E string to D#
