Oh man, you should listen to the whole "Everyday Life" album. Has so many traces of Nigeria in it. There is a song titled "Èkó" (The Yoruba word for "Lagos") which talks about a young man journeying to Lagos for a better life. Femi Kuti also played the Saxophone in the track "Arabesque", and the song features a quote from Fela Kuti. That album is packed with a lot of traces to Nigeria.

For anybody saying how we started with this and ended up with Music of the Spheres. Everyday Life subtlety touched on the controversy of world probelms and insecurities everybody faces every day and especially the hardships of life brings. It was more of a message that needed to be said rather then staying silent on these certain topics. Music of the Spheres on the other hand was made for the concerts and their world tour. I attended one their concerts for MOTS North America tour and it made me love the album even more. Although both and all albums are equally amazing and yet unique because of the style that changes. Thats what i love about Coldplay they arent afraid to try new things and the love they send out.

This song made me sob the first time I heard it. Not the first Coldplay song to have that effect. It is so sweet that these lyrics might touch so many of us that were (and are) awkward and outcasts in school or had a rough home life. Just know that youth is only part of your life, and you get to choose how your life goes when you become an adult. ❤ I love Coldplay for making us all connect through their music.
