you can use any music you want for anything you want so long as you don't earn money off of it. inc jobs and presentations and such. article 57 (I think) of the copyright design and patents act. its classed as fair personal use. if you dont earn anything it is legal or something along those lines. my head is hazy I'm sleep deprived heh

I googled the definition and here's what I make of it: The vena cavo is a latin word for "hollowed vein" which are the main arteries on either side of the trachea and deliver de-oxygenated blood directly from the brain to the heart. So to have vena tattooed directly over the vein, to me, means wearing your heart on your sleeve. To have something so fragile exposed in the open and marked shows either a lot of courage or just how easy it would be to end it all. It could be a reminder that your blood is still pumping or it could be a target for destructive thoughts.

I did some research recently and Masato came up with the symbol based on the word Vena, the vein that leads to the heart, as is said in one of the other comments. He said he wanted this to be the title for the album based on the idea of "going back to their roots." So the vena is a symbol for that.
