I hand cut tint on every car, because I'm mobile. I also use a shop light inside so there's no guessing where I'm cutting. Every new Camry I've done has a fold down rear seat. Much easier on the knees and back installing on the rear. Super easy to pull the 3rd brake light. Slide to the right and lift and pop the connector off. Good job.

Shop light idea is great. I put 5% in my wife's car rear windshield. Couldn't have done it without this.

8:25 is solved by a cheaper LED (!) floodlight from a construction/tools store and a gallow stand (like a microphone or cymbal stand), so you can stick it in through the rear passenger doors without it touching the interior of the car. Even better 2 floodlights back to back, so usable from either side but you can also just rotate it horizontally into a position that covers the whole windshield at once.

Professional at work!!! When you are doing the tint shrinking on the upper right side I noticed scratches on the bottom part, are those on the film itself or the films glue side protective plastic? Thanks. How much do you charge to get all windows tinted, let's say 2018 optima?

when you use a hard card to wet shrink any imperections in or on the glass will transfer to the film. It will cause the film to fail with a granular look. Dry shrink is the only way to shrink. Another shread of advice, keep the heat gun cord off the body. You will destroy a paint job by dragging the cord across the body.

Baby shampoo hands down. If your film company tests the film under warranty they will not warranty it if you use dish soap. Aka degreaser. Destroys the adhesive.

Excellent video - Your film is awesome it shrinks much better than the film I bought off of Amazon. On my Ford Crown Vic the large curved rear window is a nightmare because the film won’t shrink to fit Is there a quality film that a DIYer can buy with good to excellent heat shrinking capability like your film? I put 20% VLT on my car but here in Massachusetts I have to remove it each year in order to pass inspection

What is your dawn to water ratio for the mix you use to spay on the windows? Do you leave a little extra as for as the fingers on the back glass because you were going to shrink the material to fit? Why did you not try to set the material a little tighter on the glass so you would not have to shrink so many fingers?
