im glad to see you left certain body/paint issues untouched on the scayne. when a car has a perfect body with shiny paint you expect it to always start and run. that expectation deprives you of that small thrill we get when the unexpected car fires up and comes to life. old car saviours know this in our souls. thanks for reminding me of that Scott.

Boy , that cleaned up nice. I'd rather have a '59, than a '57 or '55. GM's answer to the forward look.

i love how you guys love to do it low budget ..ps.. you need to repaint the primer spots too.. yyaaa i know its old looking but you have the paint in the gun..

It's a shame y'all couldn't salvage the original engine. Always so cool to see an engine start up and run when it's been sitting for 40+ years. But that Pontiac engine should do well.

Joe Walsh for president? The Smoker You Are The Player You Get Joe Walsh? Totally awesome sticker!

MrComaToes Yeah! I love J.W.! My friend gave me the sticker and I just had to put it on the Citroen!

coldwarmotors Yeah, old Joe's Smoker album is one of my favorites... His voice got kinda thrashed there for a while but he got cleaned up a while back. I heard him sing with the Eagles in a fairly recent documentary about them and he sang one of his songs off of Smoker and sounded GREAT.

I'm not sure what's the best line so far. Agent Dean saying "We need some Meats" for the rear tires on the 58 Delray or your line "Just like an old fashioned car lot, splashin 'em in the back on the gravel."

"I'd like to remind you that I'm running for president" Joe Walsh circa 1980. Life's been good so far.

There is a guy in our town that has a very nice 1960 T-bird for sale that is very rare. It has a stick and overdrive . He says there were 204 made. I would love to have it but it's way out of my price league.

Love that you left the "Whiskey Dent" just to keep it "Authentic". "The price was right" on the Pontiac motor. Since you don't sell the cars, you can tell us how much?? Please, please?? Never know Pontiac made a motor that could/would bolt in and "upgrade" a Chevy six with more "Cubes".
@skn98956 жыл бұрын
Pappa Bob The 261 actually is Chevy motor. It was put in the big 2-ton trucks and school busses from 1954 to 1962. In Canada, for some reason, they were put in Pontiac cars. They are great engines and bolt right up in place of the 216 and 235.

Stacey Renner I could head down in something I suppose? This Chev would be fun, but the exhaust blows in from the downpipe right into the interior through a large-ish hole in the floor, haha. I'd probably pass out before I got there...

I would have saved this car from the crusher. Too bad the engine is so badly rusted up. I bet it ran OK when parked in '71.

I like U'r videos. But I'm not able to unterstand: So much bodywork done, why not eliminating the big ugly dent in right frontfender? I know that U'r an ingenious dent remover! Or is it again U'r personal kind of taste (a bit shabby look)? However, I like to look more videos.

Hey thanks and thanks for checking it out! Yeah, these cars are done to just look like typical old beaters that were sitting around on used car lots back in the 60's...Cheers!
