I think what happened between Wike and Fubara was the hand work of some external ambitious politicians. Wike was open and willing to support Fubara for his re-election but something happened. Politics as we all know is a game of compromise. The political structure in Rivers State as at then was to accommodate Fubara's political interest as well as that of Wike. Wike's interest is not in Rivers but at the national level. But when Fubara started dismantling the structure that was to accommodate their interests (Fubara and Wike) as masterminded by external forces, that to me I feel was the beginning of the problem. That structure I believe was their understanding. The structure will guarantee Fubara's re-election and Wike's national political interest. Removing the ladder after climbing particularly when it was designed to serve other interests was ill advised.

Please, court did not recognize their defection 1. Because their names were still in PDP register and APC did not have their names on their Registrar. 2. Wike should sllowed Fubura to be in charge. I will never support any politicians trying to control their successor 3. Fubura also should refrain from destroying or claiming the Wike structure.

I disagree with you totally, they decamped openly, if Damagu is not in wike camp do you think their names will not be removed from PDP or be expelled?, also know it Emeka Okocha is a wike man in APC and he welcomed them when they decamped and later he tured back that they are no longer APC members, now there is crisis in APC on the state chairmanship now new chairman been recognised by court is Saying they defected law makers are APC members, now how a governor not hold of the party because his is incharge. @victorchikwe5974 Please, the law is NOT about emotion it is by evidence VS. your argument in court. Both PDP, APC, and FUBURA have tendered and argued their case before the judge. PDP and Fubura lawyers were asked by the judge if the two PDP membership register presented by the plaintiff the PDP River state and PDP National level were original and updated documents of the party the lawyer said YES and in those documents lawmakers name were in it as a member. The APC register was also presented, but their name were not in that membership list. PDP lawyer and Fubura lawyer argued and presented the clips where the lawmakers hold APC FLAG and sang BOLA on your mandate you are stand. But never write or inform the speaker of the house that they have defected to APC. Judge interprete to them that " defection is NOT just ONLY by saying or holding flag it is more than that. Many things were argued, but the court and the PDP lawyer still agreed that they were still member OF PDP, which was why the court ruled that in favor of the lawmakers as members of PDP. The last state Congress, their name, were still in PDP, and they participated in the PDP state Congress. You don't need to disagree with me. You can disagree with the court decision. I am just saying the truth of the position in accordance with the constitution. The case may still go to the Supreme Court, and the final verdict will be given. We need to be able to say the truth no matter where you belong to. The mistake that many of you made is that you guys did not take time to research or get adequate knowledge of most incidents on issues in Nigeria but relying on what politicians say on TV. Of course, all politicians will say what suits his interest

Presentation of the Budget is not the issue but the position of the illegitimate 27 ex-members of Assambly whom the Constitution has lawfully vacated their seats by virtue of their myopic decision to defected to APC while seating in the mandate of PDP. This defection happened openly on the floor of the Chamber on live TV on the watchful eyes of Nigerians, covered by many media agencies. They also go further to backed it up with signed Affidavit. But it seemed that Judiciary is trying to prove to Nigeria that it will be the instrument used to destroy her

The court has spoken so who are u to counter the judgement? Some of us just talk trash instead of looking at the judgement and finding a solution to it. Fubara shud drop his ego and find a political solution bcos in all this, if the supreme court rules against him,he will be the biggest loser becos he will be impeached. Wike's group has the upper hand as far as this judgement is concerned.

Elder cole, the agreements from the president's intervention are still fair and enough to stop the problems they are facing in Rivers today. Some of the agreements were eventually confirmed by the court on their merits. To me fubara was misled, he should have used that opportunity to find peace in the state. Following those agreements, is it not better than the humiliation he will face in the course of obeying court judgement now.?

It is a good idea as suggested by Mr. Cole only if the issues between Governor Fubara and Wike are personal matter but if it is political the party that both of them belong to must be involved in resolving this issue. Both of them cannot claim to belong to PDP and PDP Governors and other leaders of the party are taking sides. The two individuals cannot continue to bring the integrity of the party now with consequences. It is obvious that the leaders of the party are afraid to sit these two men down to hear their grievances. The leaders of PDP are just playing eye service. For example the Governors of the party have gone to Fubara to throw support which did not settle well with Wike, the BOT of the party have gone to the governor to hear his own side of the story. I may be wrong, I have not heard of such visit being made to Wike which may be a reason why the fighting continues. Wike might be thing that every reasonable member of the PDP have decided that he is the problem. The state is run by one major political party which the PDP and any crisis has to be politically impacted for the party to get involved. The party cannot resolve personal matters but the leaders in the state has suggested by Mr. Cole. I have listened to the former militant leader Asari Dokubo have exchange with Wike so also a remembers of the PDP in the national assembly threatened the FCT ministers. All these side talks that appear one sided must be stopped as soon as any peace making efforts begins.

It is imperative that Fubara complies with the court's ruling. His pride and susceptibility to manipulation by Wike's and BAT's adversaries have squandered his chance for reconciliation. It is concerning that he appears to have forgotten the circumstances surrounding his ascension to the governorship and Wike's previous triumphs over these same adversaries. Fubara's actions have been deeply disappointing, and if he fails to rectify his behaviour by obeying court orders, he risks legal impeachment. I found it amusing to learn of his AG's position and their intention to appeal to the Supreme Court. It remains to be seen whether they will resort to accusations of a "fraudulent" judgment if the Supreme Court rules (predictablt) against them. He should note that, his recently shambolic LG elections may not stand the test of Law! Swearing in chairmen on a Sunday says a lot about his political sagacity.

Let us be very careful, whatever is not right in river politics in the eyes of the Law should be corrected so that we don't set a precedents that will be quoted in the future in other state. if the LGA election is wrong. so be it. if the Budget presented is wrong, so be it. It is only the Law that can settled the issue of river state. Lets not burry anything on the ground of peaceful resolution. Because, tomorrow it will be sighted that it happen in river and is not new, Lets be guided in this matter
