This is a great move by Cole. My only problem is he’s making them seem like lesser people for beefing and taking it that deep, when realistically most rap beefs go that deep all the time. This would have hit harder if he never tried to beef at all

I like many felt after the apology he couldn’t make braggadocios music. But I didn’t think shit would get past the music between Drake and Kendrick and clearly it’s quite possible behind the scenes. He’s always been my fav rapper and even after that, it never changed.

The game is toxic, it’s competitive, Cole didn’t grow up with Dot, stop this friend angle, it’s saving face. He shot, He missed, it is what it is. Wayne was my favorite as a kid but he isn’t a good battle rapper. Cole in the same vein, great lyricist, but battle is different. He’s never been confrontational. You can’t be number 1 without confrontation. We can’t change the rules for our favorite rapper. Culturally it use to be that way but now hip hop is mainstream the newcomers want to come change the rules.
