Dont feel too bad about not being able to handle baling the first time. The first time I did it, I couldn't get anything to wrap. I had loose hay all over the field. I worked at it for over 2 hours before dad came out and informed me I was using the chopper instead of the baler. That's when I stopped caring.

Don't know if you follow any of the farming channels from England, but some of them over there use a front mounted set of wheels they run on the rows when baling with the claim doing so helps with the pick up - less jamming with more consistent and tighter round bales. Anyhoo...another fine video - always enjoy them! Stay safe - be well - many blessings.

Wayhhhaaaayyyyyyy! A new pressure washer 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I love pressure washing my garden.... Gets rid of all algae off the fences and paths... 😎 I'd say you did an awesome job baling Cole 👌🏼 As for poor Ellie with storms.. I've figured that my Jesse is scared of thunderstorms the older she gets.. I've also found out her heart is freaked out during the whole process. So I made her a cubbyhole under the stairs and soundproofed it then added in a memory foam pad n load of soft blankets... Works great.... That can be your new project for Ellie, making her a space like that... Lots a love fam ☺️❤️💕

Hey Cole, the best thing you learned about baling, is it makes you a better raker, cuz you know how to try to get the rows so your dad doesn't plug. Even if you don't ever bale again, you'll always remember it, so when your raking you'll be on guard on what size rows to shoot for. So that's plus.

A word of wisdom that I learned the hard way, if you plug it so bad that you can't get it to feed by working the pickup, just dump and roll out the bale to re-bale and then the wad will come out very easily by turning the PTO on while the rear door is open. Also, I was told to NOT run at full PTO RPMs, but around 1600 engine rpm. It works well. I believe the manual on my 569 even says to run slower, but I could be wrong on that. I think it is to have less problems with the net wrap is one reason.
@wmurphy124 жыл бұрын
If you’re having issues plugging up, you might want to check the slip clutch. On the 568, it was right at the back of the PTO shaft where it connects to the gear box. There were four or five bolts that you could loosen and remove a washer to tighten it up. Made baling much more enjoyable.

Badger holes and a way to put an end to them. I used road flares on my gophers. I stuck three flares into three different holes, buried them in the ground, let them smoke their tunnels and that was the end of the pests. For those Badgers you'll need a whole lot more that three flares. You'll need a platoon of buddies with shovels to plug up the tunnels when the smoke rises. It may take a few times to get them fully saturated with smoke, but have a few beers and relax. If no beers then bring out the .17HMR or .22 mag rifles and get them that way too.

When you are lubing running chains, try to put the lubricant on inside of loop. That way the centrifugal force will push oil into chain instead of throwing it all off. Keep up the good work.

Hey Cole and Brian! Brent here from Wisconsin (Go Pack Go!) I love watching your videos, Also lived just to the North of you in Huron from 2011-2013, Just curious everyone here in WI Wraps and or covers their Round Bales after they bring them back to the farm, have you guys ever considered wrapping your bales to protect from the Elements? Seeing you you guys get demos and hook ups on a lot of things I am sure it wouldn't be hard to try a Bale Wrapper out for a while? My neighbor has the same Rake that you guys have and makes the same sound I might have to recommend your solution to him reduce that squealing noise when you lower and lift it. Any who look forward to more videos, The girlfriend has learned a lot about farming from them as well!
