I don't mind that Noni and Jackson wanted to take the pen, they're forwards, scoring goals is their job, and Madueke is our second choice taker anyway so I have little to no doubt he would have buried it. My issue is their reaction after Gallagher took the ball from them and gave it to Palmer,that was unacceptable.

About maatsen , I don't blame poch much , also maatsen , hasn't surprised me atleast , he is the trent type player, if you give him an attacking role he flourishes ,he can't defend really well . He would only work if we do a 3 at the back , and him as LWB .

Are we seriously discussing spending more big money on a ST, CB and LB?? We have Jackson who's getting better and better, Nkunku back next year, and lots of youth backup at ST. We have Colwill, Fofana, Disasi, Badiashile, Chalobah at CB. We have Cucurella and Chilwell. I think they players need more time to develop and build chemistry rather than ANOTHER dressing more shake-up. Maybe pick one of these positions for a big name marquee signing..

completely agree with the take on how it would definetly be fair to say he could be considered POTY. The thing is, first of all, its just a trend to hate chelsea and every single player no matter how we play. Second of all, people dont even watch football nowadays, they'll look at their scoreapp and see a table with a team being below the other and than tell you that "that player is worse than that player because this team is this and that team is that".

Koopmeiners for 60 million? We are already in such FFP trouble that we need to sell Chelsea hotels to avoid it. We desperately need a striker, reinforcements in the backline since we are almost certainly moving on from Silva this upcoming window, and arguably even a goalkeeper since Petrovic is capable of getting injured. We already have enough midfielders, Enzo, Caicedo, Gallagher, Chukwuemeka, even without considering the injuries we have which probably will be fine come next season. Recall Andrey Santos, give Casadei a chance, or don't sell Connor Gallagher instead of buying someone else for 60 million euros. I don't even think Koopmeiners is bad or anything, he's a good player, but not worth 60 million, and not the position we need the most right now.

I don’t understand people for blaming Enzo for looking out of it either. Poch has been running him into the ground all season. The kid needs a break! The World Cup, straight into a move to London, back and forth to Argentina for international breaks, and getting right off a plane and playing for Chelsea basically with massive jet lag and little sleep. Playing basically every game for us. It’s ridiculous and honestly we’re lucky he doesn’t have a more serious injury as a result. I blame Poch and the medical team

I genuinely don't think we need Koopmeiners, we've got kids we've bought who we've never seen play yet we are talking about buying more midfielders. I understand that Koopmeiners is older and more experienced but let the kids grow together. Carney, Casadei and Santos look promising and we have Lavia yet to properly play so let the boys ball. Just my opinion.

This is simply a biased and unreasonable take with regards to the penalty incident. When the likes of Ballack, Lampard had penalty tussles no noise. When it was Sterling taking it from Palmer and missing no noise. Now it is Madueke and Jackson you start calling blue murder. Stop making a mountain out of a mole-hill. You can praise Cole Palmer without demonizing other players who are also contributing to the teams performance. The spectacle was bad but it was bound to happen given Poch’s failure to designate Palmer as the official penalty taker. It doesn’t begin and end with Cole Palmer. The team is also made up of other hardworking players and as much as we love Palmer it shouldn’t come at a cost of demonizing other players. Ridiculous

The issue is Enzo and Caicedo are soo expensive that Poch has no choice but to play both. Gallagher is being punished because of this, check when Enzo or Caicedo don’t play, we play better with Gallagher deeper.

How is Gallagher being punished? He’s an all action midfielder but his best position is still not 6. He can play that position but his best position is as an 8 as seen in C Place. Let’s not change the narrative, Enzo is fantastic but he’s not being played properly imo
