Noni is No 2 for penalty taking so my guess is he took the ball in case Cole was injured after getting taken down. When Cole got up, the ball goes back to him. Bloke hasn’t missed and is solid from the penalty spot (not to mention he’s in contention for the Golden Boot!). The fact that Jackson came in and tried to get involved for another goal was absolutely deplorable… as said, it was a sour spot on such a great team effort.

Caicedo and Gallagher pair was pivotal. Both are natural ball winners and can pass the very well. Enzo is a baller, not too good at winning balls. Noni, Palmer and Jackson caused a lot of damage. Jackson was involved in all the first 3 goals Palmer scored. Linked up play so well and created lots of space for Palmer. Good team work and good finishings from Palmer. And we kept a clean sheet.

No we don’t need an apology. It happens all the time in football and Poch’s failure to designate a penalty taker causes situations like that to occur. Also, it’s not uncommon for pen takers to give their teammates the shot when they themselves are already on the goal sheet and the game is won.

We are all grateful to have Palmer and appreciating his ability. However, it seems like barely anyone notices it yet because he’s performing well but Palmer appears to be quite arrogant. Good Gallagher acted like a proper captain today and told them a few words. Even though madueke and mudryk did not have "output" today ,but I swear I'd there had been sterling on the pitch we would have won 2-0 . Mudryk and madueke when they get the ball their first thought is moving ahead ,while sterling gets the ball ,rushed into the defender ,stands there for 10minutes then either gives the ball away or gives it backwards . THATS WHY I SAY ,SELL HIM IN THE SUMMER .
