You brought instant tears to my eyes. I'm recently a single mom of four and I could never understand being from a broken family but I can say that it is without a doubt the hardest thing I've ever had to do not just once but twice. Both your mom and dad love you so much and I hope you never ever forget that. Sometimes we grow apart and sometimes we love so hard that we must love from a distance. My heart goes out to you. Ive been away from my four children for too long and I know not a second goes by that I don't think of them I promise you that you are so loved and when things look hopeless just remember that you are the one thing that your mom and dad did that they will cherish for ever and ever and no one can take that away. You will get thru this. ❤️

It's actually refreshing to hear new/younger artists actually put something out other than "bro country". The whole beer, dirt road truck routine is beyond played out. Actually playing instruments and meaningful lyrics, not made up words simply to rhyme, really does work. Hopefully you continue with this path. Great job.

The fact that someone would go through the pain and agony of losing the person they love and having their hearts broken over and over, again and again just to experience the love and the good memories with them again even knowing that every ending will be painful is truly heartbreaking and beautiful.

I've never been with anyone, so I have no clue what a breakup is like, but just reading through the comment section, I'm at the verge of tears because it looks like everyone is just so strong when the time came for them to have to split with their better halves, but in reality it must have been hell for all of you to have to go through such a thing. I can't even imagine what it's going to be like for me if I ever go through this. I applaud you all for being able to move on and hope that you are all in a better position than you were when you had to end your relationship(s) with the previous person you were with. 😭

I’ve always been the type to move on really quick, but something is different about this girl. No matter how hard I try, I can’t move on. She’s expressed the way she feels (which isn’t the same way I feel) but the thought of not having her breaks my heart.

I have always been like this, I absolutely never give second chance. My husband and I have been together for 10 yrs. Even if it tore my heart out I would still not give him a second chance if we ever broke up. At the point I have left someone they have allready repeatedly not listened, heard, or taken me seriously; and broken my heart a 1000 times.

Are life choices make us who we are today. Even if others change them. We learn.....we end up with better. Even if it seems the end at the time. We come put ahead and better. Happier.....hopefully for most. Life's journey never tells us what's ahead. Just what we left behind. We learn from past and do better it future. That's the true pleasures of life . We need to learn for ourselves. Figure out what we want. It's not about someone figuring out for us. Just that special someone to share it with.

To be broken and hurt to cry yourself to sleep to fear what love is and yet to be blamed for it all when both hurt both ways yet to belive that true love can be found by enjoying the gaze of someone when ur scared to even look in the mirror bc of the pain of forgiveness [cupid] freaking suxs I love the song ur a great singer

10 years together, and a beautiful little girl together. Still one of my best friends, and an amazing mom. We both have found our new loves, but I am a better man in every aspect because of our time together. I couldn't be happier that we have each found our loves and I wouldn't change a dam thing even if I knew the end. Thank you. :)

it's been 5 years since you left, and every time i just think of you, and i remember what it was during the first few years, and how it ended up at 7, that love for you still sits in my heart, and it always will, even when you didn't feel the same way back, If i could, i would, but things would need to change, which you were never fond of, so I listen to this song, wishing it was different, when it never could be....

This song is the answer to so many questions I have had this past year. Even though it was the worst "break up" I guess. How do you hate someone you've loved for 20 years? How do you just walk away from the realist love you've experienced? Why do they hurt you yet say they love you? Why can't I forget? Would I do it again? The answer is, Absolutely! The good times overpower the bad however, I would have been more cautious and kept the wall up when you continued to tell me to let you in. I guess we live and learn. And I will never be able to believe you or trust you again.

Had a breakup around a month ago, this song was playing from the CD album in my truck when I told her I loved her for the first time. A good female friend, long distance. Let's vote for this video for 2019 CMA awards on Wednesday, up for two nominations. Great song and video. Hope to see Cole live at the Wharf in July

my husband and i were seperated for three months. I filed for divorce and everything. one friday I took the kids over to his place to visit and had an overwhelming feeling before i left that we hadnt done much to try and salvage our marriage. to make a long story short, the next court date we had, we told the Judge that we wanted to cancel the divorce and salvage our marriage, not for the kids, and not for our friends, but for ourselves. The judge ripped her paperwork in half with a smile and congratulated us. we walked from our seperate sides of the courtroom and met in the middle, I grabbed his hand as we walked down the isle and out the door, leaving behind a packed courtroom of cheering people, most of which were there also for their divorce hearing. My husband and I had been doing a lot of praying that we would end up doing what was right, whatever that may be. That was 6 years ago, and we promised to never let things get to that point again. So this song, as beautiful as it is, is a reminder that if we dont work on our marriage daily, this song could really hit home for us!

Prayer does help. It give a chance to voice out the desires and needs the spouse has. A study in Arizona showed that of the thousands of couples that prayed, 99.8% made it through. The problem with people is they think successful couples don't have irreconcilable difference. The answer is not to change spouses but to work through the difference because part of the difference is you and you will carry it to the next relationship or have new ones. The grass is only green where you water it. I'm going to share your story with my group . God bless you and your family!
